The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
• You are free to explore the Websites without providing any Personal Information about yourself. When you visit the Website or register for the Subscription Service, we request that you provide Personal Information about yourself, and we collect Navigational Information. 
• We collect personal information from you when you submit web forms or interact with our Website, for example subscribing to Advanced Design Technology blog, signing up for a webinar, etc.
• Personal information can be your name, e-mail address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself or your business. It also includes Navigational Information which refers to information about your computer and your visits to the Websites such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed.

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

ADT retains your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. We may retain your personal information for longer if it may be the subject of a legal claim, or may otherwise be relevant for future litigation. Where you tell us that you no longer wish to receive marketing messages about ADT’s products and services, we will keep this information about you until you tell us otherwise. This is to ensure that we don’t send you any further marketing communications in error.

We retain Personal Information that you provide to us where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements).
